Columbus Model 25 match machine

Columbus Vending Co. 1915

The Columbus Model 25 is a small, cast iron vendor that vended a box of matches for a penny. It has the same side-to-side mechanism that many other match vendors had at the time. There is also a very rare glass topped version of this vendor though I have never seen one.

Most that I have seen have been rougher than this but I have seen better examples as well. I guess you could say that this one is above average.
